As everyone else seems to have already jumped, we’re a bit late to the bandwagon but we’re running behind, trying to catch up. numsi is now on both Twitter and Facebook. In fairness, nothing has yet been said, but as soon as this website is finally up and running, the social networking will start with a vengeance! Become a fan! Follow us! There will be giveaways…. and presumably content at some point…
Well, well, well. Things are moving here at numsi, maybe even literally. First up, the numsi line is now for sale in the shop at the Rochester Art Center, about an hours drive south of the Twin Cities. The Art Center is certainly worth a trip and Rochester is a pretty place. This is big news!
Secondly, the giraffe line will be up and running and online any day now. Keep checking back for updates. I am hoping to finally get to officially launch this website any day now, all being well.

Which brings me to the third and final point for today. The numsi family may well be packing our bags and moving. Our house (complete with numsi studio) is on the market- we have reluctantly decided that we need to downsize. In the meantime I am trying to enjoy what may be the last few weeks of working here. I love my studio space, up in the treetops away from the bustle of everyday life. Tragically I rarely get up here in daylight, but it is a wonderful space. It has also never been this tidy… I will miss it muchly, but perhaps we’ll find something just as lovely elsewhere.
How cool would it be to take the girls around town on the back of this bike?
Seriously… I could get a numsi logo made in vinyl lettering and the bike could be my company vehicle. Mmmmmm
We here at numsi are delighted to announce that we will be partnering with the Gallery Shop at Rochester Art Center, an unbelievably beautiful center for contemporary art in Southeast Minnesota. Look out for the numsi line appearing at the beginning of May.

One of the reasons numsi came into existence was the desire to design clothing for my own wee ones. Funnily enough with all the designs we’ve been working on, it was only yesterday that I got the girls to model for me. We are in the process of creating, printing and photographing new designs- clothing should be online in the next week or two. In the meantime, here’s a little taster…

In celebration of the new year, all numsi calendars have been greatly reduced so that you can get a year of good design for a most excellent price. Don’t delay, order yours now- all numsi calendars are limited edition. Once they are gone, they are gone, so there really is no time like the present!

We had a great time at No Coast- it was a treat to see so many people so enthusiastic about flamingos and buffalos and diggers and the like. Now we are knee deep in uploading all our new products to the website. But, upload we must; discount shopping codes handed out at No Coast start on December 15th. Four days and counting…
In the meantime, if you are in the Twin Cities region and missed our debut at No Coast, we will be showing again this weekend, this time at the Sooo Sweet Holiday Craft and Bake Sale (C|W Lofts, 730 Stinson Boulevard, Minneapolis, MN) on Saturday, from 10am- 5pm. Hope to see you there!

Here at numsi we are very excited to have been selected to participate in the 4th annual No Coast Craft-o-Rama. Having attended last year, in a raging snowstorm, with newborn in tow, we are bracing ourselves for the crowds. Very, very much looking forward to being an exhibitor. Better get moving!
Are you looking for wall art for your children’s spaces that appeals to them but matches your aesthetic? Are you a fan of clean lines and crisp imagery? Welcome to numsi, where we make design for the little ones, because you have to live with it too.
Finally, it is actually happening! After years of talking and dreaming and planning and procrastinating, numsi is actually going to exist in the real world. That seems pretty exciting- watch this space!
